Fraktur Magnet - Bookplate for Abraham Landes

This 2.5" x 3.5" magnet is of a bookplate for Abraham Landes from the Schoolteacher Johann Adam Eyler inspired one of the largest and most influential schools of fraktur which Eyler introduced to southeastern Pennsylvania. When children learned to read, schoolmasters often presented them with a special certificate know as a Vorschrift, or writing sample.
