Free Library of Philadelphia Shop

The Free Library of Philadelphia enriches our city and region. People of all ages and backgrounds value our branches as havens for learning, cultural activities, and social interaction. A library is a safe space where people, ideas, and communities can grow.

The City of Philadelphia provides funds for the operations of the Free Library system, including staffing at our 54 locations. Through the generosity of individual gifts, the Free Library Foundation supports many of the Library's incredible programs, including Summer Reading, One Book, One Philadelphia, the Author Events Series, and after-school programs.

Your support gives the gift of reading to children in the Philadelphia area.

You can show your support for the important services the Free Library provides by donating to the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation. Your gift, at any level, will help ensure that all citizens continue to have free access to information as well as places to meet, learn, and discover. To support the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation, make a donation online today.

For more information, please call the Foundation's Development Office at 215-567-7710.
